Born 13 June 1921 at Lansing, he was the son of the late Oatie Lawrence and Nancy Jane (Ramsey) Kincaid. Retired coal miner with 33 years service, U.S. Army Private W.W.2, member of Rock Creek Assembly at Kilsyth, U.M.W.A., Oak Hill Moose Lodge, N.R.A. and Beckley V.F.W. Preceded in death by first wife Kathleen Ramsey, brother, Emory, and sisters Ruby Tygrett, Thelma Kincaid and Josephine Miller. Survivors: wife, Virginia Lee (Jefferies) Kincaid, sons: Lawrence 'Buddy' and wife Sue of Danese, John Raymond and wife Terry of Ansted, and daughters:Nancy Carr, Billie Fouche, Jo Ellen Zink, Loretta Fox, Debbie Hanson, and Kathy Wiggins. Step daughters Jacqueline Pratt and Phyllis Ann Seaman from first marriage and Ruth C. Jefferies and step son Joey Jefferies from second marriage. Also surviving are sisters Drema Cowles and Nancy Wiseman. Burial was at Lansing Cemetery.
