George L Kincaid was living in St Albans with John, Alex, & Julia Kincaid in the 1920 Census and in the 1930 Census he was living in Climax Springs in Camden Co. Mo. He died in 1933 in Camden Co.

Life Knowledge: In My grandmothers house in Climax Springs there was a picture of Peter Kincaid & Martha Mueller and my older sister said it scared her because he (Peter) looked so mean in it. My dad told me that his great grandfather Peter Kincaid came from Scotland with five brothers, (Reading my notes from the early seventies there was five brothers who came from Scotland.) that he was a Doctor and that his wife was German and could barely speak English. He also said he thought we were related to the Wright brothers because his grandmother was a Wright. I have a copy of a Postcard photograph Of a man sitting in a chair with a little boy leaning on the arm of the chair, addressed to Mrs Thomas Burns, Osage Iron Works, Camden Co., Mo. Postmarked 7 March 1912, Shelby, Ohio &15 March 1912 Osage Iron Works, Mo. It reads[Shelby, Ohio,3-7-12. Here we are . My little grandson and his proud -pa. He thought there was nobody like Bob as he always called me. He has now gone out to Spokane Washington, to live with his Papa. How are you all by this time? Bob] It is her half brother Robert Kincaid.

My father Willie said his father Charles told him that his uncle Robert offered to give him a farm in Shelby, Ohio if he would come to live there. In the book { St Albans History and Folklore of a Missouri River Town} by Lucie Furstenberg Huger there is a lot of information including wills on the Kincaids'of which I can add at a later time. Lucie Huger gave me permission before she passed away to use any and all information contained in her book. Peter Kincaid did found the town of St Albans in 1837

The Place Names of Franklin County, Missouri Vol. XXVI University of Missouri Studies No. 3 By Robert L. Ramsey
From old England the most intresting borrowed name is that of an old river town, now vanished, of Saint Albans, in the northeast corner of the county, laid off in 1837 by a Scotch Physician, Dr Peter Kincaid. He chose the name from the ancient British town of St Albans in Hertfordshire, founded by King Offa of Mercia in the year 793, in memory of the first Christian martr of Britian, a Roman soldier who gave his life for his faith near the end of the third century. The Missouri St Albans was washed away by the floods of 1844, but 55 years later, in 1899, a post office near its former site was re-established. Only a few houses are there today.
